A one-day general health check-up camp was organized at -MOST HOLY REDEEMER CHURCH HALL, DEREBAIL, MANGALORE on Sunday 12-11-2023 between 8.00 am to 12.00 pm. Yuva Spandan Derebail along with Youth Commission Derebail in collaboration with Father Muller Medical College Hospital jointly arranged a general free health check-up camp. 

Our camp team comprised doctors from departments of General Medicine,Paediatrics, Orthopaedics,Ophthalmology, and Speech & Hearing along with hospital laboratory and nursing personnel. 

A total of 100 people attended the camp to use the many services available. A total of 18

people benefited from speech and hearing services (15 audiology patients and 3Speech disorder patients).Speech and hearing professionals in attendance were Dr. Aju Abraham(Associate Professor), Ms. Melissa Saldanha (Speech-language pathologist Grade I), and Mr. Nikhil P (PG student). Each patient received a case history, otoscopic assessment, and screening audiometry.Those who did not pass the hearing screening received referrals via a camp referral card and were counseled to administer detailed diagnostic testing at Father Muller Medical Hospital at concessional rates.
